The Vega Choir
Welcome to the Vega Choir.
The choir consists of 35 girls from18 to 25 years of age. We sing mainly classic pop- and rocksongs with strong lyrics in new arrangements for girls choir.
The choir is based in Malmö in the south of Sweden and started in 2008 as a branch of the “Glumslöv Girls Choir”. Choral leader is Christian Schultze who is a conductor and organist in the Parish of St John in Malmö (a part of the Lutheran Church of Sweden). Christian is also the leader of the “Johanneskören” and, since 2004, of the “Helsingborg Chamber Choir”.
In September 2010 the Vega Choir released their first CD ”Keep breathing” which is downloadable on itunes.
In September 2011 the choir released their second CD ”With every heartbeat”. A CD with only Swedish covers.
